A few good fish

Seems many of my fish like to hide in the rocks and don't show themselves much at all.

What are some good fish that are peaceful, get along well with others, appropriately sized for the RSM 250 and also spend most of their time out swimming in the open water out front?

Thanks guys

I have a clownfish and he tends to hide in the rocks....

I also had a six line for two years and then he got very aggressive....

Any other ideas?

+1 To Kevin, Tangs and Mandarins are both great :)

Clown gobies, hawkfish (both semi hidden with the way they perch, but still very visible and colourful!), dwarf angels, cardinal fish or some anthias?

my firefish spend most of their time swimming at the front of the tank - although they can get spooked easily by sudden movements and dart under their favourite spot. Very cowardly timid little fellas. +1 on the clowns - these guys never hide!
