650maxs or reefer 750

Hey, I have an older Red Sea max 250 that has been modified. I looking to upgrade to a 650maxs, or the reefer 750. Any suggestions?

I would go for the S-650, the stand quality and the whole plug and play solution is good to me.

Yes, you can check the specs in the Red Sea webpage. The Red Sea Max has an aluminum frame not included in the Reefer.

Thanks, I checked it all out and saw the difference there. But I did notice that the reefer has a leveling system of some type in the cabinet. Can you level the 650 max s? Not sure how level the floor is over that distance.

Yes, the Max also can be leveled on each leg, I think it has 6.

You guys talked me into it. I’m getting the 650s this Friday. It is used and is less than a year old and seems to be in perfect condition. But he sent me a message today telling me that the support bar in the front had a stripped screw. How or where would I be able to get another one of these? Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can have it ready to go when I get it home. Thanks in advance.

Hello Greg, look for one LFS who distributes Red Sea, they should be able to get any spare parts you need.
