I had one of those Gobys in my 46 before it exploded. :( lost him in it somewhere.

He was a randall's goby, or a red stripe prawn goby... same thing i think.

Awwww, and I was hoping you'd make a step up from the tangs and go with a Goliath Grouper. :)

Update...
Added 50 ML of Sea gel as PO4 was at .25.
It is now at 0 however Nitrate has risen to 40 PPM

Going to do a water change this week to drop them down. Awaiting a Par30 4B1W Bulb and got a lamp to put it in on Saturday and will stock.

New light is amazing... however like any LED it is not photogenic. Picked up some ric's and zoa's and moved some corals from my RSM130 into the tank. Things look good... zoas are open and bright.

hi that looks like the jbj nano i have one i think the filter that comes with the set up sucks.i replaced the stock filter with a penguin bio-wheel 100 it may seem large but it works much better than the stock filter. i purchased the tank to stock overflow of some green star polyps(briareum) that were growing on the glass of my 12 gal nano.you should also have a good amount of filtered fresh water to replace evaporated water i neglected to add some to my 3 gal nano and my salinity reading was 1.030.good luck.

Nice work being done. Starting up the whole aquarium from scratch is the best thing ever that you can really enjoy doing.

Hey all sorry about the lack of updates. I'll post some pictures soon.

This tank is still going at my GF's apartment. Since it was a gift for her she's been keeping up with it and its been doing pretty well. Acan's and War coral are doing very well but had an outbreak of GHA and lost a cup coral. Zoas and Rics are hanging in there but I fear we will lose the Zoas soon.

Added some more snails to help with the algae and I started adding supplements to boost the CA DKH and MG as all were very low. The temperature was an issue for us for a while until we removed the heater. Now we don't spike up nearly as much but it gets a little low for my liking. Sitting around 72-75 usually, and the tank is more aesthetically pleasing without a huge (by comparison) heater in it.

Here is a current pic. This is not with the LED's but rather the 50/50 stock bulb. The LED's do not photo well.

Thanks! Turned the AQ20 into an AQ70 Fuge with a Steve T Media Basket. Tank is looking much better I'll try to get some photos uploaded.

is there going to be anything in there...like a Hermit Crab or two?

We have a green emerald and 3-4 snails. We are also waiting for a vibrant yellow clown goby, or any vibrant clown goby to come into our LFS. As we will only house 1 fish in the tank we are very picky.
