130 D lighting

Ok, so my stock lights are HOT and expensive.

Does anyone have a link for a DIY light switcheroo, possibly to leds?

Possibly "easy." (I'm not the most electrically inclined)

I'm mostly FOWLR but have a small Xenia and a small zoa.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance...

The Noob.

$350 for a rescue tank may be a bit beyond me. Considering my freshies are my babies and get the Lions share.
Does a xenia and zoa need excessive lighting? Are they light hogs?
What about FOWLR?
Perhaps I could return the xenia and zoa.

I may have to look into the Newhall aquarium as I believe they accept donations...

Time will tell...

Thanks for the links.

Your stock bulbs will support 100's of corals... all soft corals, lps & a few sps corals

As you may or may not know, I rescued this tank from a neighbor and it had the lights, obviously.

Question...
Any idea how long the 55w T5s last?
I run them roughly 8 hours a day and use NO moonlights (should i?)

I'm not really sure on what type, but I could probably justify $100 being as that I'm assuming thats roughly the cost of 3 bulbs.
I've got TONS of waterproof LEDs lying around the garage. (Waterproof strip type) in several colors.
Bought from china a few years ago for various projects, although finding the siecs for them may be near impossible.
