While I love to support lfs, be careful they can sell you a lot of things you don't need. As much as I feel bad about it, I buy 95% of things online cause they have what I want and it's always cheaper
I buy every thing from my lfs .. believe me he matches any one ..and the pressure is 50 lbs but I am constantly using water at the house so the likely that it would be affected one way or another the pump has a auto shut off and it will be feeding kitchen .sump and .2 of these brute cans so pressure is good
Looking forward to watching Your progress. I use the same cans for water. You can get a furniture roller from harbor frieght the blue fiberglass ones, the wood ones are not strong enough to carry the weight. Then You can move the can with water around where You choose.
Drum roll please. .........
The sump is fully plumbed ..it consists of a 100 blue line pump. on 1 inch supply, it returns through a 2 inch line. the far tub is a settling tank probably 50 gal or so. then it flows through the 2 one inch stand pipes to the center tub it will have 50 or 60 gallons it also home of my skimmer a bubble Magnus c99 .the tank on the right is going to be my refugium its about 50 gal . the pump pulls saltwater out of center tub then supply the refugium then to main tank. if flow is too great I can divert flow back to settling tank. All three of the tanks are hooked to a 3/4 drain line so I can drain any one of them if there is a problem .I have a 55gal hospital /holding tank that can be filled with main tank/sump water so the fish will have no problems going in or out of it.
it will also not be part of the sump it has it own filter and flow
I really like your build! I need to read it more thoroughly but I have one suggestion, drop the mag float and buy a flipper! I think www.reefbytes.com carries them
