Mine popped off it's rock and moved into a crevice. It's happy but pretty much unseen in my tank at the moment. Not an expert but it may move if there is too much current.

Slight current that ripples the tentacles but more makes them move away to a calmer place. Speaking from a little experience. :)

+1^ All mushrooms hate med-high current. When I got my first 2, theydetached themselves from the rock and floated away. I thought they were dead, but I found one attached to my rock in the back of the tank, thriving. They will shrivel up and occasionally one may not extend again. I have a ricordea that will not open up because I had him in a tank with moderate flow. I took him out and put him in another tank and he is still shriveled up under low-very low flow.
