Would a Sally lightfoot eat a small fish?

I had a little baby jawfish, and he disappeared... shortly after adding our clean up crew which included two sally lightfoot crabs. I thought maybe the BF had left the lid open and she jumped.. and he didn't want to tell me... well, bought another one.. even smaller and now she is missing as well..

I watch these crabs and it might be their uncanny resemblance to spiders that makes me think they are bad news.. but they are so quick too! Would they catch that poor little Jawfish and eat it? That is my question....

Most crabs will eat anything they can catch. The only exceptions are the mithraculas genus, who tend to be more herbivorous but can still be a problem, and the porcelain crabs which are filter feeders. All other crabs will eat what they can grab. thus, crabs are evil

but sometimes very interesting
