Looks like a regular 'ole Bristle Worm to me. Good members of the clean up crew (CUC).
They can become a bit unsightly when overpopulation happens but if that happens you are providing too much food. I personally remove LARGER ones (like 4 inch FAT ones :yup: ) but I ignore smaller ones.

Oh, don't be picking them up with your bare fingers...they will leave their bristles in you :eek:

it's a bristle worm. i have these in my tank too. they may get big but they help clean the tank. never EVER touch them with your bare hands.. even gloves. the only thing recommended is scuba gear gloves. i just use tweezers to pick them up when they get to big. if you have an infestation (which to me doesn't look like it) you can put shrimp bait inside a nylon sock and tie it up. leave it in the bottom of your tank overnight and the worms will go and eat the shrimp, but they will get stuck. then just take the bait out, clean and repeat :)
