I wasn't sure where to put this but I was wundering if anyone has come up with a way to protect the wood table under the aquarium? Is there something to put under or around?

Is the tank sitting on the table long-term?
Keep in mind that salt & salt-creep has a NASTY way of getting into, under, on and between anything and everything. It's like MAGIC or something.
Also make sure the table is built/design for the "Dead Weight" of the tank. They tend to break-down furniture that isn't built to hold it's weight.

Yes this is intended to be the permanant location for the reef. Although I bought this fancy wood table for the reef I'd rather it not get ruined. If it does so be it. I was thinking of put wax on the wood, or calking around the tank or a rubber matt under the tank...... Any thoughts?
