Thanks to all the great info and suggests from this board, I am finally winning the battle with the dreaded hair algae. The whole tank is slowly clearing up...

The whole tank, as you can see the left side still has a little growing...I get some indirect sunlight in this spot.

Yes, I feed my brain about once a month. I feed a small fish called a lance fish and sometimes pieces of shrimp.
