Why so few 30" lights made

why don't the companies that make lights offer 30" lights. some do, but not many. it's frustrating because it makes it hard to find a quality light at an affordable price. what's so hard about putting a 24" light in a 30" housing?

I also was having the same problem finding a quality lighting fixture for my 29 gallon tank. I ended up doing a google search for 30" MH Aquarium lighting and found a fixture on ebay for 200 bucks. It had 1 MH, a ballast, 4 atinic t5 and 4 LEDs. Not the best fixture, but it works great for 200 bucks.

I dont think they are listed on ebay anymore, but this wasn't too long ago... maybe 4 months.

thanks for the info. i ended up getting a 30" t5 6x24 for $270.
