White silicone?

I accidentally picked up a tube of white GE silicone 1 instead of the clear, will this affect anything or will it just look weird? (It's for a sump so I'm not super worried about looks)

as long as it says windows and doors on the tube, I had almost accidently picked up not only a white but also black, and caught it when I was at the register because of the price. it was a dollar more than the clear.

Sweet. Call me lazy, but I'd rather not go back to HD to get clear simply for looks. (Plus once I walk in HD I can never just buy one thing xD)

I don't think there is any way I'd trust "Colored" silicone to be aquarium safe unless it says "For Aquarium Use" on the package.

Most colored silicones are ment for the kitchen or bath applications and most have a mildiside in them, exterior maybe an other matter, but may be hard to find pure 100% silicone in an exterior.
