White circles on inside of tank?

So we FINALLY got our lights and our fish and tank look AMAZING! We can see the algae growing that we were missing before, its just unbelieveable what the right lights do for your tank!
Anyway, now that we can actually see, we've discovered the inside of the glass has small white circles all over it. They look almost like curled up worms. When we use the magnetic aquarium cleaner eraser thing it won't wipe the white circles off. Any idea what these circles could be? I'd post a picture, but they are so small I cant get a clear clean picture.

Hard to tell without a picture but my guess would be feather dusters starting to connect to the glass and build there tubes.. I also thought snail eggs but the eggs would come off with the magnet... So it might not be that.
