My blue legged hermit crabs have an alarming tendency to strip any and all pieces of live rock with macroalgae/plants and eat the plants, leaving a bare rock...is that even close to normal behavior?? I don't feed the crabs individually, so what are they doing? I'm kinda disappointed that i can't even have a few plants growing nicely on the rocks...they even uprooted a plant out of the sandbed so they could tear it apart! Is this normal?
