What spay paint can I use

I have my in-take and out pvc tubes on my in tank overflow exposed to where they stand out because their white pvc, can I use black spray paint to make them sort of disappear
or thats just a bad idea which can cause potential problems of contamination and peeling off?

I've sprayed PVC with flat black. Just let it dry first, I've not had any problems in my tank. After a while regardless of color, Coralline will cover it. Have fun!

You could also use grey schedule 80 PVC instrad of painting. You can mix the white Sch 40 and grey sch 80 without any fitting problems.
