Weird Worm thing came out at night... I need ID...

So tonight right before i was going to bed, i saw this thing in my roommates tank... it was extended to about 4 inches long... and looked like a worm that would extend, then when i put a light on it it would retract... anyone have any ideas....

thats funny. I just got home from work right now and i noticed the same looking worm in my tank extending about 1 inch out of the rock. I was going to post something on here but i guess you already did for me! Thanks!

I have one in my Elos tank. I have only seen it stick out of the rock (about 4") and have never seen the entire worm.

I'm so bummed I haven't seen my peanut in so long. If your concerned with it. I'll buy the rock from you with it in it. Its definetly a good guy.
