due to my work schedule, and my son's sports schedule. it always seems like i run out of time in the day, so 5g water changes are harder to do.
i like to do water changes after everyone goes to bed at night because my 2 years old likes/wants to be involved in daddy's tank stuff. right now her job (supervised, of course) is to use the algea scrapper help clean off the algea. don't get me wrong, i love the fact that she wants to be involved, but a good deal of the stuff i keep under my tank would not be good for her to get her hands on (water testers, electric plugs, water, etc).
daily 1g water changes are much easier to manage with my current schedule.
