UV and photoplanketon

It will depend on the particular UV filter you are using and the flow rate you are running through it. Faster flow rates are good for killing bacterial algae. Generally it takes a slower flow rate to kill larger organisms.

Either way, your coral should have time to strain most of the phyto out of the water column before the UV filter has noticeable impact.

it is a 55 g reef tank
UV 18 watt (chineese)
waterflow is 1000 g/h

you mean that i should better not use UV while i am feedin phyto

That's pretty decent flow through your UV, so I wouldn't worry about it. I think your pumps would have more effect on the phyto than the UV, but I'm a firm believer of running your normal flow while feeding corals. Is your UV filter run in a sump? If so maybe you could shut off the return pump for about 15 minutes while the coral feeds. Than you will eliminate phyto getting chopped up by both pumps and be sure the UV won't kill any.
