Used 55gl

May be this dont belong here, but, I have aquired a 55gl tank (freebie!!!). It must have been a FW tank at one time. It hasent been used for more than 2 yrs. I have cleaned it out throughly with muratic acid and leak tested for several days with the intentions of adding it to my existing tank. I noticed that the silicone has turned blue (I assume from ICH medication for FW).

Does anyone think this would be ok link this tank to my existing reef?

I'm not familiar with FW Ich medication. Is it copper like SW Ich medication is? If so you may have a problem with inverts.
With blue silicone I would probably remove and replace it just to be on the safe side.
