Tiger Watchman Goby Vs Diamond

Hi all,

I have been looking at getting a diamond goby for a while...are the tiger gobys the same basic fish except for the look?? I want a goby to help keep my sand clean but also not throw sand everywhere..thanks

All sand sifting gobies throw sand everywhere. If you have corals you'd best move them to the top of the tank or be prepared to give them a clean with a turkey baster on a regular basis.
Have you thought of getting a few conches, they do a good job of turning over the sand, plus they eat algae.

Hi..thanks yes i was looking at a conch or two....how many would be good for a 65 gallon tank?

I have 5 in my 108 gallon and they amaze me by climbing up the rocks as well. They are a very interesting addition to any aquarium with their elephant like trunk and their eyes sticking out. I love them.
