So I'm building my new system...
I built a new stand and made it a bit higher for viewing pleasure.
My current return pump will not be sufficient enough to create enough current/water movement in the tank due to the larger tank coupled with the higher stand
Having said that, I was wondering about the following setup.
Keep in mind, the flow-through ratewould be slow and I would be adding power heads/ Closed loop to create necessary water movement in the tank.
I was thinking of the following benefits
a) Since an effective fuge needs slow flow for macro to grow
b) Since i don't want pods to go through the return pump and get mulched
c) maybe the slower flow through the sump might give the skimmer time to really do a good job on new water entering
What do you guys think?
