Thinking about Coralife Lunar Aqualights Compact Fluorescent Light system 4 cichlids

I found this light on Drs. Foster and Smith... I have a SW tank but I wanted to start another tank that is FW. I am thinking about Cichlids... I really want a light that will bring out the most colors in the fish. I also want moonlights... I just dont want to overkill it and give me an algae issue... Can anyone help?

I wouldn't go for it.
-I never recomend PC, its good for absolutely nothing. ( IMO )
-If you are going to keep cichlids, you will not have anything that requires light, so that will be over kill.
-Moonlights can be done separately, dont buy a light based on that.
-The visual performance depends more on the bulb than the fixture.

Being that you are going for cichlids which are typically bigger, territorial fish you will probably have a bigger tank, something like a 90g. I would go for a low end florescent fixture. T5 has a nice look to it, more so than others IMO, But you can get to much light pumping into the tank real quick with T5, keep in mind you only need zero light for that set up.
