I have one question though.
Does it do any harm to mix it longer? This is going to be particularly important to me sice once I get my new water set-up I plan to have 65g of pre-mixed water at all times. Obviously it will be mixing for even longer than 24 hrs.

bacteria does grow, whether its a bad thing i dont know, AqtcJak does big water changes maybe hes got an answer?

Jim at Thefilterguys and I talked about bacteria growth in RODI, makes the sides of the container feel slimey, he thinks it is from bacteria but does not think it has negitive effects. I had it and used the water for salt mix. I would think the salt would kill it, just like the Kalk mix. Cleaned the tub, pump and hose with a mild bleach and it has not came back. I also keep both covered at all times except when gasing off a fresh salt mix.
