Hi all. Haven't checked in for a while. My tank is now 6.5 months old. I have learned a lot. I added a 20 gallon sump about 2 months ago. My only major issue was a huge nitrogen spike shortly after that. I am guessing that a large turbo snail I put in for algae control died. I lost a leather coral, and a scale montipora (my first hard coral which I had just put in the same time as adding the sump). My full tank shot is uploaded recently so you can check it out. Now that I have gotten rid of the hair algae it seems the red slime has no competition. So I am trying to deal with it by cutting back on the light, picking it out almost daily, and cutting back feeding of the liquid stuff to the corals and sea worm.
