Will a SCWD work if submersed?

I have a submersible pump that I want to attach a SCWD to.

I plan on hiding the pump and scwd behind rock work...

I will be concerned with the heat the pump may produce. But yea, the scwd should work, you also need to find plastic clamp to secure it.

Also make sure you can get the pump out without removing your rock work.

Just don't hide it to well.

I have a SCWD and it needs a good size pump The unit needs a fair amount of water pressure to switch properly. Also there are a few easy tricks to match the pumps output size and securing the tubing to the barb fittings on the SCWD. Heat may be an issue depending on how big the tank is. What type of pump do you want to use?
