strange looking egg sack on live rock..

Hey guys, ive had my tank cycling for about 1 month now and i have some clean up crew and hermits in. Tonight i noticed these strange egg sacks.. quite soft and rubbery to touch.. any ideas?

Pineapple sponges. My soft coral tank has loads of them. Good for water quality. Helps to filter the water. :snrkl:
