STN (slow tissue necrosis)

I've had a touch of STN (slow tissue necrosis) on the base of my Efflo since late May. I've been playing the wait and see game for too long now. I've had STN before but it has always gotten better, this time it isn't. The infected area is under the Efflo, so it's in the shade and I believe this may be why it isn't improving. I'm ready to do something about this STN. What do you suggest, break off the dead and dying area? Put a thin coating of super glue on the infected area? What to do? TIA

If it were RTN, I would say frag ASAP but since it is slow you could try the super glue trick. Keep us posted!
