Spinning Feather Dusters

I have 2 feather dusters that spin. Not all the time, but on occasion will do their little dance. Is this normal?

Hey Grizz, I have a feather duster that does the same thing periodically. I've had it for 6 months and it has always done this. I'm pretty sure it's normal behavior.

They spin to line the top of their tube with a mucus, which makes the tube bigger.

Heck,that ain't nothin... :LOL: :wit: one of my feather dusters not only danced but took it's top off.

That 90% of the time is not a good thing It shows a lack of food or a sick duster
