Hi, I just purchased my first snowflake eels on Friday, They guy said they probably would not eat for a few days, but now it's Sunday and the Tiretrack that i bought has eaten everyday but the snowflakes wont.

I've tried shrimp, red wigglers and dried krill but nothing. I've never had these types of eels before, maybe i am doing something wrong. I've had ropefish, ceacilian worms and sirens in the past and never had a problem feeding them. Ive red on another post about dipping food in some type of garlic... what is that, where do i find it?
Any advice please?

From what I am reading, they eat at night when the lights are off. So he might be eating...and your just not seeing it.

Snowflake eels are one of the more easy fishes to keep. In the right sized aquarium and in good water quality, they should get along fine.

Give it some time and it should start eating. But to be sure, check water quality.
