Smelly Krill

I have a dwarf lion and i feed him frozen krill, unfortunately whenever i do it makes the whole house smell like crap. I've tried everything i can think of to stop the smell but it just doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Feed live then? This hobby does sometimes smell.

Just feed him live ghost shrimp. Easily bought at LFS or in bulk online.

well i was feeding him live ghosts for a while, but it became a hastle of trying to keep them in one tank, the lion in the other, doing water changes on both, it was costing so much more then just buying frozen krill

I buy fresh shrimp and scallops at the deli, freeze them in individual ziplock baggies, and dice them while frozen, drop it in a cup of RO, thaw for 3-5 mins, then feed. I get absolutely ZERO smell, and im not paying the premium for "krill" at the LFS.

Fish/shrimp should have much smell if it fresh. You only get that fishy smell if it isn't fresh and is starting to decay.
