I'm in the process of adding a sump/fuge to my RSM 130D. The entire sump is a 20g long, and the fuge section will hold approximately 6g of water when filled. I am limited on space and built a custom cabinet to house the sump. I plan to keep a ball of chaeto in the fuge; nothing else that requires light.
My problem is that I only have about four vertical inches of space between the top of the cabinet and top of the tank (not the water surface, but I need to keep the light above the tank rim so that I can move it). I'm having trouble finding a lighting solution that will work in that space. I'm considering going with something like this, but I'm not sure if it will provide enough light (the sump in the link is only 5g TOTAL). Any ideas? Will a set up like the link work for me? Any other ideas on slim lighting?
