Shrimp

Hello Again.
I had some little critters on the glass of my tanks and was told that a Shrimp would sort it out.
So I purchased a peppermint shrimp.
He lasted 4 hours efore he was murdered by my strawberry damsel.
Any more Ideas how to kill of the critters.

first off id get rid of the damsel, they get more and more territorial the longer they are in a tank most times (yes woody, i know yours is docile) and since yours is a proven killer,,,send him packing to the LFS.

Unless you have a large tank with plenty of mature LR I wouldn't recommend a Manderin as they're in most cases exclusive pod eaters and will quickly starve in a small tank.

sh1ppy are you talking about aptasia ? We need some more info on what your trying to get rid of before we can help.

O.k So the damsels goto go,
I have no LR, only alfa, only a 120ltr tank. with not enough light power for LR.

I have a couple of emerald crabs in my tank which keep any uneaten mysis, small live, and dead shrimp under control. I know there are a few other crabs out there that will help. for a 120 LTR tank (30 USG?) I think you only need one, especially with no LR. HTH, good luck!!!!!
