shrimp eggs

Can shrimp be breed in the aquarium?
I got 2 banded shrimps (female & male) the female got a lot of eggs, what are the chances or posibilities to live of this eggs? or what can I do for it?

I would think that if any of the eggs did hatch, the babies will probably become dinner.

I agree with Gina. Not much you can do, as trying to raise them would probably be difficult...meeting their needs. There is always a chance that one might survive, but with all the equipment we have on our systems, that chance is very minimal. Take some pics when you can, and see if they breed again! Your fish might enjoy the extra treats :)

Can shrimp be breed in the aquarium?

I tried for years. Yes, they will breed and produce live babbies but as stated above get lost. I even siphoned some of them off and put them in their own tank and took pain-staking care but none ever lasted more than a couple of weeks :(
