I have finally decided to get rid of these, but trying to figure out what to ask. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

If I'm selling something I typically figure out what a new one would cost, and figure that a used one that is in perfect condition is worth about 60% of the new price. If less than perfect condition it's worth less, often a lot less. Keep in mind the new price is what it costs today, not what you paid for it.

Some items take a larger hit because they are no longer popular. For example, few want PC lighting anymore.

Often you'll have a lot of equipment that may not be worth anything to a prospective buyer. For example, if I was looking at a tank setup and it had standard T8 or T12 lighting, the lighting would be worth nothing to me, since I'd have to replace it. As a seller, you got to decide if you want to just throw it into the deal to get rid of it, or sell only part of the tank setup, or hold out for someone that wants it all.

Sometimes tank setups, especially large ones, go for very low prices because someone needs to move and must get rid of the tank. Other times a seller may want way too much for an item, and they can't sell it. Even if an item is still in it's new packaging, and never setup, it's still used.

You can always post your asking price and that you will consider reasonable offers.
