Scratches on Acrylic tank

Not sure if this is the proper place to post this.
I have a 110 gallon acrylic tank that I am using as my reef tank. It is fully operational. I bought it used years ago when I was a vet student. I have a lot of scratches on the inside portion. I don't have much algae in the tank anymore, but some reside in the scratches and have become difficult to clean. Sometimes I use so much force to clean them that I am causing more scratches. Hence the vicious cycle. Except from getting a new tank (don't think wife will let me splurge for one), is there a way to fix the scratches while the tank is operational? In worse case senario, is there a way to fix them dry?

Thanks
