Salty Question.

For the last 4 years I've been using Reef Crystal salt in my tank, but I've been reading a few threads which people have been using R.S. Coral Pro salt.

Is it worth while changing my salt. I'm not sure about the Quality of the Coral Pro salt compared to Reef Crystals. Is it better or worse???

I'm looking to get the best conditions for my fish and coral.

Now would be a good time to change for me as I'm about to change my RSM130 over to a RSM250 in the next 2 weeks or so.

Thanks in advance for your input on this.

I used to get my water pre mixed from my lfs but recently they keep changing the salt from TMC pro reef to instant ocean and red sea. With all of that came inconsistencies in my sg level etc, so like you I've been scouring the Internet at different brands of salt and did look at the red sea coral pro but ended up settling on the dd h2ocean pro+. I preferred the higher calcium and magnesium levels it gave.
