Salt - Which is best?

is there any validity to what they say about io cause cyano outbreaks. i've been fighting cyano for a couple of weeks and i've tried everything else, rinsing my food, turning off the lights, feeding less. i use ro/di water.

is there any validity to what they say about io cause cyano outbreaks. i've been fighting cyano for a couple of weeks and i've tried everything else, rinsing my food, turning off the lights, feeding less. i use ro/di water.

Once I run out of IO, I am going to switch to a different salt (maybe reef crystals) and see what happens to my cyano.
