RODI problem

My RODI is hooked up with a float valve in my storage container. The float shuts off the flow to storage but the water continues to flow to the waste. I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to what is possibly not working right. Thanks.

your selinoid shut off to the supply to the RO/DI unit is not shutting off at the same time.

A pain to fix? It's a cheapo e-bay unit. Only had it 6 months.

its a simple part that can be bought at almost all fish supply vendors online or any local place that sells RO. Its a little plastic switch that goes on an RO and shuts it off with back pressure (storage tank filling or a mechanical float valve). Some RO's do not come with this shut off and have to be purchased seperately.

its the little plastic square with 4 ports the float switch in the picture is connected to.

OK, cool. Thanks guys. I'll fix it but a better unit is in my future. Thank goodness I didn't get a odysea light off e-bay. I almost did!! Went with a hamilton technology unit. I got some brains I guess.
