Sure, they may deplete your population of pods and such, but they don't pose a threat to corals, other fish or larger inverts.

I fancy getting one tho I've read that they might not be reef safe. ie eating shrimps crabs and snails. I really want something that will eat bristle worm/ fire worms.

I read somewhere that sweetlips will eat the worms but not sure they are entirely reef safe... and I swear I saw my Hawaiin blue tang eat one the other day.... but he doesn't exactly hunt them down, i think it was a meal of opportunity.

I've got a blue-headed fairy wrasse that will eat anything. He is up for grabs if anyone wants him. I'll take 10 bucks for him, plus shipping and he is yours.
