question about RO

I already know everyone will say ro/di but I'm wondering would or could ro be good enough until I can get a di to add onto the ro unit.

Anything is better than tap, although I used tap water for almost 2 years straight and had no issues...

If you can't afford a full system, I'd say wait it out until you can. If not, I suppose you always could add on DI afterwards.

If your tap water isn't to bad (not loaded down with alot of disolved minerals) you could get away with just DI water. Check here for a tap water DI unit. Aquarium Water Quality: Tap Water Filter

if you gonna spend 50$ on this Aquarium Water Quality: Tap Water Filter , i would go ahead and just spend 70$ more and get the real deal Premium Reef 50gpd 4 Stage RO/DI Unit: Premium Aquatics
I have one of these and it's the best lil 4 stage ro\di for the money that I've found on the web.
