QT a shrimp/goby pair???

I wish to purchase a shrimp/goby pair. My QT does not have a sand bed in it. Will they be ok for a month with just some PVC pipe to hide in?, or should I just risk putting them straight into the display tank?

for any sand sifters, a small bowl or plate with some clean sand is ok to use. see the stickies in the disease section...

If you have ever had any type of copper treatment in the QT don't put the inverts in there just fish. Do a long (2 or 3 hours) drip acclimation on the invert. Good luck!

Particularly under the equipment and supplies section item #11. Not just any sand should be used.

Thanks for all the replys. The QT has never had copper- it's never been used. I will scoop a little of my DT sand into a dish and stick in the QT. Hopefully this weekend.
