I have come into possession of what I have tentatively identified online as a Pustulate Cowry. The pic below is not of the one I actually have but is a representative picture of what I am looking at. There just isn't a good way of me getting a picture right now and wanted to move along with my question.
He's only been in the tank for a few hours and making a mad dash across the front glass of the tank. By mad dash, I mean he's gone about 12" in 2 hours. I've read some material online regarding Arabian and Tiger Cowries, but can not find a single resource referring to the Pustulate.
I realize most will say "You shouldn't have put something in your tank without researching ahead of time," but this was a situation of helping a friend who's tearing down their tank and I really like him, so if he's safe in the reef tank, that's where I would like to keep him.
Any help is always appreciated.
