Polishing filter

Hiya all,

I have just setup and filled my 250 and will start a journal tomorrow.

I have a question, do I have to remove the hood to install the polishing filter? I can almost get it in but the top of the filter catches on the bottom of the hood....

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Not needed, just open the skimmer sub-hood and fit it. After 4 months I still take some seconds to attach it correctly. The side does matter...

Be carefull, It should be used for short periods, during cleanups, etc. Don't leave it unnatended. There is risk of overflow. Anyway, it helps me so much...
