mY pjS seem to have had a clutch, and the smaller one has a 'full mouth'
and hides for days @ a time, until, I suspect he hides the babies
and eats ravenously!

Does anyone have experience w/ PJs breeding in captivity?

I can post an image of the full mouth pose...also I have 2 tangs and a O. Clown and 3 Chromis.
Will they eat the babies?

If the tangs can they will be happy to eat the whold kaboodle, the others might like to but they will probably get chased away.

It sounds like the parents are doing what nature needs them to do but... they will loose interest in the babies soon and leave them to fend for themselves then it will be every fish for hisself and bye bye to captive bred babies. or they will wander into your overflow and dissapear.

I don't have any specific advice for you since I almost always loose all the babies and I don't try to breed anything specifically.

A good pic would be cool if you can get one especially with a full mouth just for curiosity sake. I see your link so you know how to take a unique picture, you should submit it for the monthly photo contest. that is a rare opportunity unless you are a breeder.
