Hi
Has anyone used plastic push fit fittings to pipe aquarium water around. I know metal should not come into contact with salt water but if the fittings are for human water supplies then they should be safe ????
The ones i want to use are entirely plastic except for the barbs on the retaining ring which contacts the outside diameter of the pipe only.
I want to use 12mm dia nylon or polypropylene pipe to run a phosphate reactor and have seen the fittings in a local hydraulic/plumbing parts supplier.
lastly are nylon pipe/fittings ok to use
Cheers.
