particles in the water.

Hey everyone!
how are you? Haven't been around in a while but i recently set up my new 95 gallon! Hope to post some pics when more is going on in it.
Anyway!
I did a water change yesterday and all of yesterday and today there are these very tiny white particles floating through the water. It doesn't make it look cloudy just unclear. Looks like blown up sand? or salt? Im not sure.

Is there anything i can do to clear this up?
Why does this happen anyway?

I appreciate the help!

Carbon is a good idea as well.
Are you sure they are particles or could they be microbubbles?

Hi Alex, Welcome back! how did you mix your water? did you disturb anything when topping up? Steve

yeah i just mixed in buckets and poured (as gently as i could) into the tank.
i think i need a better way to put fresh water in (ideas?)
i have a sponge over my drain tube in the sump, i dont think they are bubbles.
they just look like little white flecks but throughout the tank.
this happened in my nano and they eventually just went away but still want to learn how to avoid this issue.

How much salt to water ratio did you have? If it didnt mix well that could be what you are seeing. It is best to mix salt and water (1 gallon of RO water to 1/2 cup of salt). In a Big container with a heater and lots of flow for at least 12 hours.. I always mix mine for about 24 hours to make sure the temp is good as well as the salinity matches the main tank as close as possible.
