painting back of tank

I was just wondering if anyone has painted the tack of their tanks before and if they liked it or not. I was also wondering if there was any kind of paint that you could use to paint like your overlow or the pvc pipes that are in the tank for a DIY project. I am getting a tank that has white pvc returns in the tank and a clear overflow along the back that, even thouight is is clear, is still noticable.

i painted the back of mine with krylon simi-black, turn out great, but i never painted the inside.

I would think it'd make each piece of algae/junk stick out a lot more?

I've heard of folks using pvc primer (purple stuff) to cover their PVC bits. It gets camoflaged faster when the coraline starts to grow. Don't think it would work on the glass, though.

I was thinking more in the blue colors, and I don't have any algae on my tank walls. I don't know if I am going to do it for sure, I just wanted to get some opinions.
