Took some photos today at our local Central Florida zoo. Fairly small, but still a fun trip. Enjoy

Florida panther? The rest of the world calls them mountain lions.

Florida doesn't have mountians! Cougars go by many names my friend!

Camera is a Canon Powershot S3 IS, no lens

Puma, mountain lion, florida panther, I believe are all the same, no?

They also had a beautiful Amur Leopard that I couldn't get a shot of. Everything was sleeping (its stifling hot here, can ya blame em?), so I couldn't get good shots of a lot of the animals.

I have to get my plug in here, my daughter is on the Philadelphia Zoo website. They had a grand reopening of the big cat exhibit last year, and the month before it reopened we were there. A PR lady pulled us out of the crowd and asked if we wanted a free preview and press pics taken of my daughter (she was 2 at the time). Pics ran in a Delaware paper and are still on the zoo website.
