I cannot say where they are from, for now. I do need suggestions from experienced latz owners what medications are safe and effective for them.

According to my sources, theses are TR F2 clowns.

I have a securable 10 gallon tank for the first few weeks of QT. This will give them time to relax, medicate, get fat, and get ready. I will then move them over to a 20 Long for another QT period with hypo salinity (need to check if they like this yet), and finally, a transfer to another hypo tank, where under a time no less than 6 weeks, the salinity will be raised slowly.

This may seem like a bit of overkill, but heh, $1000 dollars worth of fish will make a man do crazy things.

Very cool! I'm excited for you! Don't know the best QT procedures for them, but I'm sure someone else will chime in.
So are the ones you're getting going to be misbar? I didn't know some Latz were misbar. But I guess it makes sense. If they were tank raised it would just depend on their diet when they were little fry.
Hope they do well for you!!!

Nice!
I have a wild caught pair that have recently finished a long QT/treatment period. Mine had a few diseases but with a lot of TLC and help from Leebca (our resident Fish Disease & Treatment expert), mine are healthy and well! Yours being tank raised will hopefully not have any issues.
