I just got one this week too! Hid in a cave for the first 2 days, but now he's a big ham.

Oooh, nice. I used to have one. But then I learned the difference between a royal gramma and a royal dottyback. I got rid of the dottyback, and am waiting to spot a healthy gramma at the LFS.

It will be one of the next fish i buy, right after the sand sifting goby(my sand will thank me..lol). But yea, the grammas are one of my girl friends favorite fish, so i will have one..

Thanx everyone I wanted to go for the Black Cap but hey are a little pricey and quite frankly not as pretty.

Nice! mine is very well behaved but utterly fearless, once you see one do the big growl you have to think twice about "cute" Im sure this cant be a feeding development so what purpose does the big jaw thing serve?
